on-site

on-site
At Meetings & Incentives, we make it a standard practice to maintain program management continuity by expecting the planner responsible for each meeting or event to also lead its execution on-site. While on-site, the planner has many responsibilities. The most important of which is attendee safety and security. They also know the program details intimately, thus are responsible for vendors' delivery of pre-established requirements. The planner manages other on-site staff and supports the customer with any last-minute needs that arise.

There are times when we use independent contractors to fulfill on-site meeting management obligations, however contracted on-site staff account for only a small percentage of our total on-site working days.
When we do engage contractors, they are professionals with whom we have long-standing relationships, who have an average of 5 years industry experience, and who have contractor agreements in place.

Contractors who work with M & I are required to complete an annual on-site training and certification program. This program focuses on customer-specific and M & I standard policies and procedures. Required training ensures that our use of contractors is transparent to customers because contractors are trained and held accountable to the same standards for on-site meeting management as our own associates.

There is no geographic limit to where we can operate a meeting or event. We deploy internal and contracted resources across the globe and engage regional resources when necessary to bridge language or cultural differences.
Did You Know?
Meetings & Incentives (almost) never uses freelancers as leads on programs, instead they are (almost) always M&I employees. In the rare cases that they are not, they are usually former employees or freelancers that travel exclusively for M&I.
