Increasing Attendance to Avoid Cancellation

Challenge: Meetings & Incentives worked with the client to plan a VIP Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) dinner. A week prior to the event there were only 14 accepted guests, of which 13 were internal to the client's company. The client wanted to cancel the event due to low attendance.
Solution: The M&I meeting planning team made follow-up phone calls, sent personalized follow-up emails instead of generic reminders, spoke with administrative assistants to get responses, and secured additional attendees to invite.
