Using Printed Material to Promote Online Registration
Fortune 100 Food/Drug Store company
Challenge: Meetings & Incentives had to create a webpage which attendees could access through an individualized URL that required authentication with an e-mail address.
Solution: The M&I Web Development team worked with StarCite to create an Authentication Page, which allowed the client to send out print invitations to those who may not be email savvy, or those whose email systems would filter direct email invitations.
Result: Meetings & Incentives was able to monitor registration by creating a username and password specific to each attendee and it allowed the client to have an accessible URL address for those intended attendees, as opposed to using an Open invitation, which allows anyone to register. The registration process was easier for the attendees, leading to increased satisfaction with the process.
