Caledonia, Wisconsin (November 6, 2024) – Having marked 57 years in business in September, global event agency Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc. (M&IW) has plenty to celebrate. The company is on track for record profits amidst a year of industry recognition and internal growth. While the recognition helps business, Tina Madden, CEO, M&IW, owes the company’s success to a long-term practice of prioritizing quality over profit margins which, she says, has kept the organization on stable ground even during the hardest times in the industry.
“For us, every business decision has always been made with quality in mind,” says Madden. “Quality in the people we hire, the services and businesses we take on, and the culture we foster. I’m proud that this still holds true even after 57 years. While I’m grateful for the success and accolades this brings, I’m even more grateful to have a team that shares my passion for and pride in what we do.”
Most recently, M&IW was nominated for the 2025 SITE Crystal Award in Most Creative Solution Deployed to Overcome Diversity for a program that was rescheduled due to a hurricane. This is the company’s second consecutive SITE Crystal Award nomination; it was nominated in 2024 for Excellence in Incentive Travel: North America.

In September, M&IW was named to the CMI 25 list for the 17th consecutive year. The annual report recognizes the largest full-service meeting and incentive-travel management companies focused on the US corporate market.
M&IW also received a Bronze Medal for its EcoVadis Sustainability Rating in August. As long-time champions of sustainable practices both internally and for customers’ events, the company now ranks in the top 35% of rated companies.
Throughout 2024, M&IW has seen success internally as well. The company currently averages a 94% customer satisfaction rating, and employee retention is at an all-time high. 2024 saw new hires in nearly every department, including a new Vice President of Event Technology, and the company continues to hire for open positions.
“We always try to hire proactively so that when needs or challenges arise, we already have the resources to meet them head on,” said Madden.
M&IW also solidified its position as an industry leader in three key areas with plans to further deepen its expertise in these specialties.
- Sustainability: M&IW is looking to upgrade its bronze EcoVadis medal to silver. The company is building upon its suite of sustainability solutions for the programs it manages, having recently introduced the tracking of travel and energy emissions per event.
- Event technology: M&IW strengthened its technology partner ecosystem and recently introduced new technology production services. It also merged its consulting division, Intent Strategy Group, with its Event Technology department to better align the company’s strategic vision for data, AI, and more.
- Neuroscience-based event design: M&IW plans to enhance its strategic investment in neuroscience-based event design by continuing company-wide trainings and introducing brain-friendly best practices to customer programs.
